Castle Ruins near Denver Colorado

Castlewood Canyon State Park is a hidden gem. Just a short Drive from Denver, Colorado, the scenery never disappoints. High-plains meadows, Bouldered, junipered canyons, forested foothills, and stunning mountain vistas are all accessible by accessible walking trails. The easy to moderate hikes are peppered with breathtaking scenery at regular intervals. The park is so full of scenic stops that, even after several visits, I have yet to explore the Park's namesake; the "castle" ruins.

My personal favorite spot in the park is just a short 0.25 mile walk from the trail head to the unbelievable view of Pike's Peak via a natural amphitheater.

Create your adventure and book a session at the park today!
